The St. Louis Region
The St. Louis region’s strategic location, infrastructure and business climate are well suited for multimodal logistics and supply chain solutions.
Much of the nation’s transportation infrastructure converges in St. Louis, including:
- Four US interstates (I-70, I-64, I-55 and I-44)
- Six of the seven Class 1 railroads (Burlington Northern Santa Fe, Canadian National, CSX, KC Southern, Norfolk Southern, and Union Pacific); and
- Heart of the U.S. Inland Waterway System (Confluence of the Mississippi, Illinois and Missouri rivers)
Foreign Trade Zones and shovel-ready sites are available throughout the region, as is an educated workforce centered on transportation and supply chain solutions for decades.
Even our bi-state composition signals strength, providing twice the leverage on major infrastructure projects, evidenced by the brand new I-70 bridge spanning the Mississippi River.
